Timothy M. O’Brien served on the PERA Board of Trustees from 1984 through 1995 in an ex officio capacity as the Colorado State Auditor. In 2011, he was elected to the Board of Trustees for a four-year term, re-elected in 2015, and reappointed in 2019.
Mr. O’Brien is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and holds the designations of Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Global Management Accountant. He earned a B.S.B.A. from Loyola University of Chicago and a M.B.A. from the University of Colorado.
