DENVER—The Colorado PERA Board of Trustees voted unanimously on May 1 to terminate the employment of Executive Director Ron Baker and that Mr. Baker be provided with 30 days written notice of such termination, pursuant to the terms of his employment agreement. He will remain on leave until his final termination date of June 1.
Mr. Baker had served as PERA’s Executive Director since 2018, and his contract was scheduled to expire in September 2023.
Mr. Baker had been on a leave of absence since March 8, and Chief Investment Officer/Chief Operating Officer Amy McGarrity will continue serving as Acting Executive Director.
