We’d like to share an important update with you about our Lone Tree office location. On August 18, Colorado PERA permanently closed our Lone Tree office.
The pandemic provided the opportunity to jump-start a digital-first, not digital-only approach to retirement counseling, member education, and accelerating toward online benefits processing and member communications. We’ve been receiving fewer requests for in-person appointments specifically at this location since the pandemic. Members are also sharing with us how they love the convenience of meeting with our Benefits Counselors via Zoom. As Lone Tree is our only leased space between our three locations, we made the decision to suspend operations there.
We’re committed to serving our members.
Members who prefer to meet in-person can still do so at either The Penn Center in Denver or The Pointe in Westminster. PERA’s website also offers convenient ways to access a variety of information, including access for employees to manage their account, and set up a time to meet with one of our counselors. (If employees need assistance setting up their account, they can access helpful instructions here.)
