Tristan Gearhart, appointed to the PERA Board of Trustees in 2026, serves as Chief Planning and Finance Officer for Colorado Springs Utilities, a position he has held since September 2021. During his 17-year tenure with the organization, he has served in several leadership roles, including Financial Planning and Risk Manager, Interim General Manager of Financial Services, and Principal Operations Analyst for the Energy Supply Department. Mr. Gearhart holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Colorado and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Colorado.
