The Colorado PERA Employer Relations Team is growing and changing to better serve the needs of our employers.
After over 10 years of serving as the Employer Relations Team Manager, Gary Brooks has taken a well-deserved PERA retirement. Long-term Employer Representative, Katie Remington, has been promoted to Manager of the Employer Relations Team. Katie started her career with PERA in 2007, working in the Operations Support Division, before moving to the Defined Contribution (DC) Team and the Employer Relations Team. She has been a member of the Employer Relations Team since 2008, serving first as the team’s Support Specialist before spending three years as a Defined Contribution Analyst and eight years as an Employer Representative. Katie is excited to step into this new role but shares that she will definitely miss hearing from all of her employer contacts.
The team also recently welcomed a new Support Specialist, Stephanie Kiel, as well as two new Employer Representatives, Dillon Greer and Sandra Orozco. In the coming weeks and months we will be working to shift agency assignments. As a result, some employers may receive notification that they will be working with a new Employer Representative.
