From the PERA homepage on copera.org, click on the button in the upper-right corner that says, “Member/Retiree Login.” You can also click here. If this is your first time logging into your account online, click on “Register as a new user” and you’ll be walked through creating an online account.
I don’t remember my User ID or password; how can I log in?
If you don’t remember your User ID, click on the link below the login form that says, “Forgot User ID?” You’ll need your email address or Social Security number to recover your User ID.
If you don’t remember your password, click on “Forgot password?” You’ll need to know your User ID to reset your password.
What is multifactor authentication?
Multifactor authentication (MFA) is an enhanced security system that adds an extra layer of protection to your account. With MFA, you access your information online using not only your User ID and password, but also a security code or push notification sent to your home or mobile phone. This makes it more difficult for an unauthorized person to access your information.
Colorado PERA is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Colorado PERA
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
feedback and can often resolve issues in a timely manner if they arise.
If you need any special assistance or accommodations:
Colorado PERA has designated a compliance officer for website disability-related accommodations.
The compliance officer has received training in website accessibility and updates the site in accordance with those best
practices. Contact our accessibility officer to report an issue.
Compliance Procedures and Reports
In addition to testing with users with a wide range of disabilities and coding our website to WCAG standards,
Colorado PERA regularly scans its website to ensure ongoing compliance, and makes timely
changes to any inaccessible changes, if any are found.
