Report Reminders for Retirement Season

  1. Complete the Final Six Months' Salary Report only when you can accurately certify employees' final pay.
  2. Only list PERA-includable salary on the Report. If you need assistance in determining if your salary is PERA-includable, please contact your Employer Representative.
  3. All extra pay listed in the Report must have an explanation. If an explanation is not provided, PERA will contact you for the necessary information and this can delay processing an employee's retirement. See the example below:
