Dr. Ramon Alvarado, re-elected to the PERA Board of Trustees in 2022, is the Deputy Budget Director for the Colorado Department of Revenue, an adjunct faculty at the Metropolitan State University of Denver, and a business tutor for Arapahoe Community College. He began his career as a research analyst with Innovest Portfolio Solutions and has held analyst positions for multinational companies.

Dr. Alvarado holds a B.S. in Finance and a B.S. in Accounting from Metropolitan State University of Denver; M.B.A. from the University of Colorado Denver; M.S. from Colorado School of Mines; M.S. from Regis University; and a Doctorate from Saint Leo University.
