Board Election
In May, Colorado PERA will hold an election for a School Division seat and a State Division seat. Retirees will not receive ballots since there is not a Retiree seat up for election. Election results will be announced in mid-June.

Other Trustee Changes
At its March 2022 meeting, the Board reappointed Trustee Ramon Alvarado to the State Division seat. Alvarado was the sole candidate duly nominated and eligible to be elected. His term will begin on July 1, 2022, and end June 30, 2026.

In November 2021, Cheryl Pattelli left the PERA Board. She was first appointed in June 2019 and represented Local Government Division members. Pattelli was the Chief Financial Officer at the City of Boulder. An ad hoc committee of the Board is currently conducting a search for candidates for the Local Government seat.

In September 2021, Norman Franke was appointed to the PERA Board by Governor Polis. Franke is one of the three Governor-appointed Trustees and fills the seat previously held by Susan G. Murphy, who left the PERA Board in July 2021. His term will expire July 10, 2025.
